A Church Budget Campaign

As you may (or may not!) be aware, the local budget provides the funding to pay necessary and basic operational expenses for our church. Without partnership from donors like you, we wouldn’t be able to meet together, worship, and share Jesus with the community. Hospitality, staff salaries, Burton support, utilities, and repairs are just a few of the basic expenses required to keep our church thriving. The local church budget is the foundation that allows all of the ministry to happen at the Arlington Seventh-day Adventist Church.

In 2023 we’re looking at the budget funding a little differently.

Our local church budget is $1,000,000.

That means it costs about $2,740 to run the church for One Day and $114 for One Hour.

We need sponsors for all 365 days of operations in order to meet our ministry goals.

You can be a part of this ministry opportunity by sponsoring a day, two days, a week, a month, etc., of our church budget needs. You can even spread your sponsorship over the course of the year ($2,740 / 12 months = $230 per month).

If a whole day is not practical for you, consider sponsoring a certain number of hours (It takes about $114 to run the church for an hour). Our goal is to get everyone involved in meeting the needs of our church community. Every donation counts.

As one member put it, “Making sure the church budget is fully funded is kind of like being sure your electric bill is paid before your internet, Netflix and Hulu subscriptions. You use them all, but the order in which you prioritize them matters.” When the budget is fully funded all of our other ministries are able to function as well.
