PASTORAL ORDINATION: ODDIE OLAZARAN // SAT 3PM // KEENE CHURCH
Adalberto "Oddie" Olazaran was born on April 30, 1990, in Tampico, Mexico, the second child of Eduardo and Silvia Olazaran. At age 5, he moved with his parents and older brother, Eddie, to Dallas, Texas, where his younger siblings, Alexandra and David, were later born. While growing up, Oddie was highly involved in sports and music. In 2008, he graduated from J. J. Pearce High School in Richardson, Texas.

Oddie went on to earn his B.A. in Theology at Southwestern Adventist University in Keene, Texas, before earning his Master of Divinity, with a concentration in Youth and Young Adult Ministry, from the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary at Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan. While at Andrews, he served as secretary of the Theta Alpha Kappa National Honor Society for Religious Studies and Theology.

Throughout his pastoral ministry, he has focused on working with and mentoring the next generation. He spent two years as the youth and young adult pastor at Conroe Seventh-day Adventist Church and two and a half years as campus pastor at Burton Adventist Academy. He currently serves as the high school pastor at the Arlington Seventh-day Adventist Church.

While in his early 20s, Oddie met his wife, Madeline, at the Arlington Seventh-day Adventist Church. The two married after five years of dating, and they've now been married for eight years. Together, they have a young son, Oliver, and two dogs. As a family, they share a love of outdoor adventures, including rock climbing, backpacking, and hiking.
