Harvey Help

We have had several people ask how they can help those affected by Hurricane Harvey. Well, there are a few ways:

OPTION 1:

If going to Houston to help clean up and rebuild is not possible for you, consider donating financially to HELP HARVEY VICTIMS HERE

You will be giving to Adventist Community Services in Texas and all donations will go to helping the communities in the areas that need it most.

OPTION 2:

You can help our local Revive Community Care food pantry by donating supplies. There are many people heading to the metroplex in need of not just shelter but food and our food pantry would like to be able to help them in that regard. Without supplies however this will not be possible.

Here is a list of supplies we need for the food pantry:

Dry cereal

Hot cereal packs (like oatmeal, cream of wheat etc.)

Shelf stable milk

Peanut butter

Canned tuna of chicken

Crackers

Soup - canned or ready packs

Cereal bars/snack bars

Juice boxes

Fruit cups

Diapers

These are just some of the needs so many folks have, please consider helping Revive replenish it's shelves. For more information contact Revive Food Pantry Coordinator Maria Kutzner at

OPTION 3:

Join clean-up efforts. We have had several teams go out to Houston and serve those in need. Through cooking and cleaning they have brought two things to those affected by this terrible storm. Hope that they can rebuild and comfort knowing they are not in this alone.

Another team of volunteers will be going the weekends of September 23 and September 29. If you are able to go along or contribute cleaning supplies we would love to have whatever you have to give. It will all make a difference!

Also, don't forget to download our church app from the Google Play Store or the App Store, it has up to the minute details about events, resources etc.

Thank you so much for visiting this page and being willing to help serve our brothers and sisters in these ravaged communities. Our prayer is that Jesus be close to them as they seek to rebuild their homes and their lives. May they also see His love for them in the way we love them.
