Divorce Care Teens

Divorce Recovery Teens is a weekly program designed to encourage and empower teens to deal with their feelings, fears, and emotions while experiencing the divorce or separation of their partents. It is very common for teens to experience a variety of conflicting emotions during this time. Many react with anger, withdrawal, and intense pain; many carry these unresolved emotions into their own futures. Because of the divorce or separation of their parents, teens find themselves in a hopeless situation that they did not choose. Many teens carry this "hopelessness" into their own future families. In this class your teen will be transformed and equiped with God's given tools to live a life of hope with the promise of a changed tomorrow.

Divorce Recovery Teens is for ages 13 through 18. This class for teens combines videos, games, and activities to create a warm, and caring environment. They will also make friends with other teens who understand how they feel.

The Staff in this class are divorced adults who have experienced divorce or separation. They will love to help your teens get through this unpleasant experience. Snacks are provided for every class. If your teen has any food alergies please let us know before hand.

Divorce Recovery Teens class is a 14-week long program that meet every Fall and Spring on Wednesdays at 7 pm in the the adjacent classrooms to the Fellowship Hall. While they attend the Teens you can attend the Adults class and their younger siblings can attend the Kids classes meeting separately during the same time. Present classes started on January 19.

For children 4 and under free childcare is provided during class sessions.
