Welcome to the Divorce Care Adults class. If you are divorced or in the middle of a divorce or separation this class is just for you. You are welcome here regardless of you religion, beliefs, race, ethnicity, age, or gender. Seminars include biblical teaching to help you recover from divorce and separation and are not overtly religious. Materials used in the seminar are from the nationally renowned DivorceCare ministry by Church Initiative which publishes DivorceCare. Seminars include dynamic video presentations by renowned experts in divorce and recovery, including Kay Arthur, Dr. Bob Barnes, Dr. Archibald Hart, Bonnie Keen, Cynthia Yates, and many others. Each class meeting includes discussion and sharing time, snacks, and social time.
Divorce Care Adults classes are 14 weeks long and meet every Fall and Spring on Wednesdays at 7 pm in the Fellowship Hall. While attending the Adults class your children can attend the Teens and Kids classes meeting separately during the same time. Classes start January 19, you can register today. At Divorce Care Adults you will become part of a small support group of people who are also experiencing separation and divorce. You’ll meet others who understand what you are feeling and who will offer you encouragement.
The Divorce Care Adults Leadership Team consists of people who experienced divorce and separation themselves and understand how you feel. They have a real concern for people like you. The only motivation they have is to help you cope with your divorce and separation, and see you recover and rebuild your life.
For children 4 and under free childcare is provided during class sessions.
